In order to serve the interests of our users, and to preserve a place of learning that respects the rights of others, the Hazen Memorial Library restricts the use of cell phones in the building's public spaces. When you enter the library we ask that you turn off the cell phone ringer.

Patrons who need to make or take a cell phone call will be asked to use the area between the main doors or leave the building temporarily. Patrons leaving the building to use a cell phone should be sure to take their valuable belongings with them.

Inappropriate cell phone use should be reported to a library staff member at the nearest service desk.
